Description: Late 19th century c 1890, French antique gilt over-mantel mirror in the style of Louis XV with a stylized shell crest and frame with curling acanthus leaves and bleed heart flowers at the base; this mirror has a dark rich patina to the gilding. It has the original slightly marked silver-backed beveled mirror plate and wooden back.
