Finish: The Fourmaintraux dynasty made de Sevres the most important earthenware centre in northern France, producing decorated earthenware such as dishes, vases and plates. Starting in 1804, Francois Fourmaintraux copied popular products from the Delft, Moustiers, Nevers, Strasbourg and Rouen porcelain works. These images are giclee reproductions of original designs which were used by salesmen to sell their vases. Each blue and grey image on a white background is printed on Somerset Velvet fine art watercolour paper and has a deckled edge. They are of a Limited Edition of 295 and each image is embossed with the authentic stamp. Contemporary silver frame with linen slip.
